Privacy policy

This policy describes what the SESCO website collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers this website only. The website is operated by Southeast Service Company of Central Florida, LLC.

What is collected

No forms. The website has no quote request form, no file upload, and no other way to submit information. Quotes are requested by phone or email.

Do not send controlled information. Do not send CUI, export-controlled information or technical drawings through this website. Contact us to arrange an approved transfer method.

Email and phone. If you email or call SESCO, that message, number, or address is held by SESCO in its ordinary business email and phone systems, not by this website.

The on-page assistant. The "Ask a question" assistant runs entirely in your browser and answers from the information already published on this site. What you type into it is not sent to SESCO or anyone else, and it is discarded when you close or reload the page.

Hosting and security logs. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives standard request information, such as your IP address, browser, the page requested, and the time, to serve pages, keep the service secure, and diagnose problems. These operational logs are held by Vercel under its own retention policies.

Analytics. The site does not currently run analytics. Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and click tracking are not included in this site. If analytics are added later, this page will be updated first to say what is measured.

Cookies. The site's own pages do not set cookies, and none were set in testing. The hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to challenge a visitor during an attack, for example to tell a browser from an automated bot.

What it is used for

Request information in hosting logs is used to deliver and protect the site. Information you send by email or phone is used to reply to you, prepare a quote, and fulfil an order.

Your information is not sold, rented, or used for advertising, and it is not used to build an advertising profile.

Who it is shared with

• Vercel, which hosts the site and keeps the hosting and security logs described above.
• Manufacturers, where fulfilling a quote you requested by phone or email requires passing on its technical details. Only what is needed to quote or supply the part is passed on.

Retention

Quote correspondence is retained as ordinary business records. Ask using the contact details below to have your details removed, and they will be removed where there is no legal or contractual reason to keep them.

Your choices

Email SESCO to ask what is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Requests are answered within a reasonable period.

Children

This site is for business purchasing and is not directed at children under 13. SESCO does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page, with the date shown at the top.
